The Information Physics Group at the University of New Mexico, USA (December 02, 2006)
The Information Physics Group at the University of New Mexico researches the physical laws governing the acquisition, processing, and transmission of information. Because these laws are quantum mechanical, we concentrate on quantum information research.

The International Conference on Accelerator and Large Experimental Physics Control Systems (ICALEPCS) (December 02, 2006)
The International Conference on Accelerator and Large Experimental Physics Control Systems (ICALEPCS) is a biennial series of conferences inaugurated by a number of control system specialists from accelerator laboratories around the world. The term "Control Systems" in ICALEPCS is broadly interpreted to include:
- all components or functions, such as processors, interfaces, field-busses, networks, human interfaces, system and application software, algorithms, architectures, databases, etc.
- all aspects of these components, including engineering, execution methodologies, project management, costs, etc.
-
Experimental Physics Control Systems (EPCS) (December 02, 2006)
EPCS is an Interdivisional Group of EPS. EPCS is an association of specialists involved in control systems for experimental physics processes such as particle accelerators, tokamaks, reactors, lasers, telescopes, etc.
